We wrote about our perfect playground. Some were right here in Aspen and some were make believe. Some were in the park and some were in our backyards. Some had slides and some had unicorns. Here are the pictures that went along with our writing.
We're working on our computer skills. Today we started making books about owls on the computer. We type different owl facts on each page and draw a pictures to go with it.
We're counting to (and past) 100 again and we're getting really good at it. We found so many patterns in the 100's chart. In this Missing Number game, one person covered up numbers with pennies and our partners had to figure out which numbers were missing. Ask us how high we can count!
Today we learned about liquids and gases. We wrote a letter to a snowman to tell him why he shouldn't be afraid that winter is coming. We know that snow melts in the springtime, but we also know that it becomes snow again in the winter! Some of us used this reasoning to tell the snowman he shouldn't be afraid, others of us told him we'd keep him in the freezer for the year and feed him ice cream and avoid the problem altogether. Have a fabulous three day weekend!
Here we are hard at work!
