Green eggs and ham was delicious. The green was a little difficult for some of us to get past, but overall, it was a hit.
Finding page numbers can be hard, but we're really good at it. We can count to 120! Ask us to find pages in your books. And ask us to show you the page numbers in base ten notation!
We're writing chapter books! Whoa! They're longer than anything we've written before and they have lots of chapters. We're writing to teach you all about the things we know.
Snowshoeing was a blast! The snow was soft (and deep). We hiked around off the cross-country trails, ran up and down the hills, and did a little sledding!
We made our own fish. We decided how long they needed to be keepers. We designed them and they were awesome!
We're measuring with tiles. One inch tiles to be precise. We're measuring different kinds of fish. They have to be a certain length to be keepers. Do you know how long an Alewife, a Mackerel, or a Perch needs to be to keep it? Do you know how many inches long your feet are?
Welcome to First Grade!
