Today we did a great experiment! What do you think would happen if you fill a ziplock with water, and pock pencils through it? Well we found out this week all about how the molecules in a polymer, like plastic, work together to seal a hole. Ask you kids about this super exciting experiment! We had to write in our science journals what our Hypothesis was and then what the conclusion of our experiment was. We had to state if our hypothesis was right or wrong. We realized that most of our hypotheses were wrong. and guess what...almost always when scientists make a hypothesis, they are wrong...that is how they learn!
This week we had a lot of fun doing all sorts of different Valentine projects. One of them was a partner activity where we had to figure out how to turn 2 large paper circles into one heart shaped valentine basket for our Valentines! You wouldn't believe how hard this was...or how long it took us. But finally we figured out we had to fold the circles in half and staple them together...
Our amazing and Talented Story teller Sara Jane came this week to tell stories of love...not only does she tell stories she also plays guitar and sings. Click this link to watch the video of Ms. Sara Jane singing a silly song about "Stupid Cupid" We know it has a bad word, but what else rhymes with Cupid;) The kids loved it!
