What a fun time we had today at the ARC! So many laughs and so much playing! A great way to get good and tired for our sleepover!
Bonding and Friendship!
All the kids are tucked in, most are asleep, we had some amazing times this evening! Including, Mr. Basten coming to play guitar for us, scavenger hunts, and some pretty amazing compliments to give to our friends! I have loved teaching this group! and Love the kindness and compassion they each show!
What a fabulous day to be out at ACES in nature. We were so lucky to see several wild creatures. Including a GBH (Great Blue Herron) with a fish, 2 hawks flying, and a deer. Not only that...but we saw ACES' resident Golden Eagle and their Hawk...the highlight when the Hawk POOPed!!
We played in the garden and learned about the plant that inspired the invention of velcro!
Can you make an egg bounce? Well we found out today. Thanks to Rome's mom Marlowe! She soaked some eggs in vinegar over night more than 24 hours and something strange happened...The shells disintegrated and became very soft and flexible. But the egg inside was still raw. So could we make it bounce??
Did they bounce?
What amazingly creative and fun inventions we had last week! Thanks for helping your kids! I know how much work it is as I am in the mist of it with my own daughter! The kids were so proud of themselves! We had everything from a homemade lava lamp...to a focusing helmet...to flashlight shoes and a "liquid Leaker"! Wow!
